Yeah, I know - that's what I keep telling folks... "It's a weed, people. A weed." So many growers wa-a-a-ay overthink this.
However, increased quantities of water and nutrients (particularly during the vegetative phase) will result in greater yield if done properly - but good grief, Charley Brown; 5 to 1o gallons per day??? Unless you're using a circular irrigation system like in a cornfield, you're probably going rot your roots and drown your plant. This is absurd.
We cannot grow enough food but potheads still think using 5-10 gallons a day per plant for their stinkweed is ok....apparently not and Sacramento got it right,, falling in line with many more California counties fed up...
And locally.. our Sheriff, the patient lawman that he is, has waited until the big grows began maturation before pulling them so the dopeheads couldnt replant ... many will leave the area... now thats progress for the good citizens who have to put up with this garbage
So if you were REALLY worried about the water, why aren't you complaining about the sheriff waiting so long to pull them? Instead you are gloating about that fact, which means you really could care less about the water lol
We all know you have an agenda here, so why not just be honest about it instead of cowering behind the sheriff and a bogus concern about water?
Not to worry OP. When more states (those in parts of the country where there isn't a water shortage) tell the feds to go pound salt, and legalize it, we'll pick up the slack. Plenty of water around here.

So, they wait until the plant has fully grown, flowered and THEN pulls em? If he wanted to save water, why would he let them age to maturity? Isn't that wasting water?

I personally saw this as the person writing is full of....... Even a freakin tomato plant doesn't need that kind of watering. This information was to pizz off anti-pot people and nothing else.

Good point. I mean, let's face it. Prohibition of cannabis is in its death throes. Several states have some sort of legalization, with more states attempting to get on board. So the "Reefer Madness" crowd is grasping at straws, and really pulling stuff out of their a***es to try to garner support for their failed policies surrounding the war on weed! At some point, given that a growing majority of Americans support legalization (whether they partake or not) it's only a matter of time before the feds cave, and it is removed from schedule I status.
