Today is the International Day of Rememberance for the 27 trans people murdered in the US, and 271 murdered around the world due to hate and intolerance.
There is no acceptable reason for this. It is unacceptable of a society where everyone is supposed to be equal.
International Day of....oh geeze. The TWENTYSEVEN out of 300 million people? Gosh, I hope the schools get out for the day, businesses close, flags at half staff.

And if his behavior is typical, I can't work up much sympathy for overgrown children ruled by hormones and emotions, and seek to have the taxpayers foot the bill for their disconnect with reality.
And while I have plenty of issues with not-so-impartial organizations such as Maryknoll and Doctors Without Borders -- I have no doubt that they have paid a much stiffer price for their beliefs and convictions.
