A couple hundred thousand people in various states smoked pot today (which they were gonna do legal or not) and didn't get arrested as laws are moving along into the 21st century.

They were not manufactured into criminals, going to jail or prison on YOUR tax dime and then having a drug offense on their record for life and most likely relegated to low paying jobs and requiring YOUR tax assistance throughout their lives.

have a nice day

Be aware, last time I tried to post positive news/facts, they closed the thread in a matter of minutes with no explanation, even when I asked for one.

I don't use marijuana. Period.

And I'm one of the ones who fully supports its decriminalization for basis cost-benefits reasons - the societal costs of keeping/making it illegal are considerably greater than the costs of illegality. It's costly in direct and indirect ways and it largely doesn't work.

Oh... and it helps that I'm not a maniacal control freak who can't stand it if someone else wants to indulge in something that doesn't interest me.

Please provide a link to your evidence of this?

If true..then several hundred thousand people were worthless human beings today.. Provided little to the betterment of their communities... Engaging in purely hedonistic and selfish activity ....they tuned out reality..operated motor vehicles high..went to work or school high...diminishing their ability to interact with others
They were not targeted by anyone..unless their obnoxious or criminal behavior brought the spotlight upon them.
At least 10-20 percent of these users will be addicted to pot.. More will live with polypharmacy or alcohol... Some will go undetected...

With all we face in our world do we really need to support these losers as the princes and princesses of pot

I think your number is a little low.

200,000 per day times 30 days = 6,000,000 per month.

But the number is closer to 25,000,00 per month:

There you go nmo, put that in your pipe and smoke it. And you are wrong, only a very small percentage of those 20,000,000 per month are doing it in order to be worthless, tune out reality, and provide nothing for their community.

Onward, with common sense!

How is that a positive?

Many more don't smoke pot and do the same thing. Now the standard for a positive is just doing what you're supposed to do?

Come to think about it, that is a negative. When the mind becomes so clouded it can't think clearly and is so distracted by the fog of pot that somehow just obeying laws and not harming someone else is a positive to be applauded, that clearly shows that smoking pot does some damage.
