There was a to-do at one of our local colleges a few years ago when the "head cafeteria cook" (or whatever) thought it would be a good idea to showcase fried chicken and collard greens on MLK day. The solution? The school fired the poor old woman who was just trying to do something nice.
As Judge Judy would say, though, they ate the steak--then complained afterwards. This kind of garbage makes me sick.
Ok, well I live in the south now, but formerly Ohio. Here, all I ever see black people eating is fried chicken (don't even try to be tardy at the deli line at Publix). At Oberlin, only 20% of students are other than white, and some of them are not black, so I assume that everyone, regardless, would prefer fried chicken, instead of whatever PC swill they are making.
By the way, Oberlin has an art museum that lends valuable paintings to students for their dorm rooms. So cool.
