"Ali Saqr, 21, killed his mother in front of several hundred people outside a post office in Raqqa, Syria, after she urged him to leave the group, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Friday."
Right, but then when something happens somewhere, the first thing many posters here will say is "Why aren't the good ones DOING anything about the bad ones? That's why we cast all Muslims together, because they ALL are on board with this"...But the answer is they try, and they die for it, they don't have the power to stop fanatacism any more than we do and are in a much more vulnerable position then the vast majority of keyboard warriors.

With well-trained armies, though, I don't doubt people in this countries that are being taken over could at least fight ISIS and have a chance.
But yes, the average person trying to do good and stand up to ISIS is not going to win. It will literally take an army.
I think an issue people often have here is that so many refugees are young men who are of perfect age and physical shape to be fighting, but instead they're fleeing. There is truly no hope that they can win in their own countries, rather than say us going in and defeating ISIS and looking like the bad guys while we wind up also killing innocents as collateral damage, when they're fleeing as refugees.

Apparently Christians aren't the only target.
Christians have never been the only target,,,,actually the primary group that faces the wrath of this group are actually Shiite Muslims. Shiites are actually considered worst then Jews and Christians.

Why aren't the good ones doing anything about the bad ones? A large percentage of the "good ones" live out side oppression and fear of reprisal from fanatics. At least "keyboard warriors" are voicing opposition while apparently millions of the "faithful" appear to be in complete acceptance of the fanatics.

They never give solutions either, just shake their fists. Spot on.
I couldn't imagine raising my voice at my mom, let alone beheading her. This guy isn't much older than me either, it's amazing what some people will do in the name of religion.

We're always told it's a minute percentage of the group that are radical; with over 1.5 billion, you'd think that would be a powerful force if the 'moderate' ones would stand up to the deranged ones.
