She isn't telling police where her baby is, so she is obviously hoping the baby is either never found or found long enough after the abandonment that it's dead. The one thing that baby has going for her is that our temperatures have warmed up the last couple of days. I surely hope she is found alive!!
With safe haven laws, I don't understand why women still do this to their babies. They can drop the baby off with someone at a safe haven location, no questions asked, that's that. I don't see why the better alternative is murder and/or abandonment when you can knowingly and legally leave the baby somewhere safely.
Loads of mentally unstable people in our society. No normal person carries a baby for 9 months with all the stress that comes with it, and decides to do what this very crazy person did. She is sick.

Pathetic and sad. After giving birth twice the idea of dumping a fragile, needy infant somewhere sickens me to the bone.
