I thought it might already be sick. It's unusual for a wild dolphin to allow itself to be caught. Baby dolphins in human hands are a bit more friendly though. I remember I did a dolphin swim at a park once and helped train the baby dolphin. It was quite friendly.
But I am also disturbed that animal cruelty elicits WAY more outrage than deaths of starving children in Africa.

Huh
Two totally different things mate. People are dying around the world every single day from malnutrition, disease, etc., but it is not being caused by people doing stupid things like taking a baby dolphin out of it's environment for entertainment purposes.
Now if people took a starving kid away from his village to take selfies in the hot son and the kid died, people would also be incensed.
They are most likely tourists but they all had an argentinian accent.
Argentinian families often plan a summer vacation to the beach in the summer.
Which makes them tourists...just like when people come to my beach town for vacation in the summer, they are tourists regardless of whether they live 30 minutes away or 2500 miles. What on earth is your definition of a tourist?
What makes it worst, is the dolphin was endangered.
Humanity always takes anything that is good and finds a way to destroy it.
But it would have died in a few years of natural death anyway. Now at least it is memorialized FOREVER digitally for future generations of Facebook users.
You are the one who is romanticizing these people. I grew up in South America and poor people there also visit zoos and are taught to respect animals. People there live like you and I live in the U.S. Or Europe. Maybe not all of them have a car or the latest iPhone but trust me most eat several meals a day, have jobs, get free education if they can't afford it and live normal lives.
I never claimed that they dont live normal lives, nor did I claim that they were starving. I did note most have seen more hardship than most Americans. I also noted that they are less likely to romanticize animals. In addition, I also stated that the people in the photo have the same level of intelligence as those criticizing them.
