Frank Jr had a hard rocky road. Firstly, his dad giving him his name, and then the boy deciding he wanted to be a singer.
He had a difficult relationship with his father for much of his life. But, in later years, he became his dad's manager, and in 1988, his music director, and conductor. This brought them both closer together, as Frank Sinatra needed someone he could trust as his health declined, but he continued to perform.
He adored his father, and I think Frank finally grew to really love his son also. RIP.
What's really amazing is that his mother---ol' blue eyes' first wife, Nancy Barbato Sinatra---is still alive at 98 years old!
