Yeah...two things

1) sadly the USA will forgive her because we are blinded by celebrity.

2) She will make more then the average hooker because of her past celebrity. Maybe make porn. So she is good until at least 36

I read this news article about this story and my first thought was... in what world did this stupid girl think that was ok? What a disgusting human being. And frankly her apology was nothing but her trying to save face and cool down all the backlash she was getting. I do hope this woman whose picture was taken sues and files charges against this idiot girl!

So this could be brought up in a court of law aside from a civil suit.

I wonder if Mathers may have seen in this woman's perfectly normal middle aged shape and began to think of the loss of the only thing she as a model has going for her; her body. She certainly has neither the brains nor any other abilities to fall back on when nature begins to take away the only meal ticket she holds.
This is the only law that applies pen:639-653.2 California law not NY state, not Arizona. What I said was in if she had a good attorney it's a possibility she could use the defense that a gym locker room is not private being she in not in a bathroom stall she is in open view of many other people. Just because a gym puts a sign up says no photographing has no bearing in a criminal law. I'm only referring to a criminal charge not civil some of you might not understand the difference legally. Criminal law has a different bar when it means convicting someone then a civil case. GYM rules have nothing to do with the law.

In a false light suit, the plaintiff typically must prove that an image was shown to a third party with reckless disregard of placing the plaintiff in a false light that would be highly offensive or embarrassing to a reasonable person.

Invasion of privacy.

And no she was in a locker room, NOT OPEN TO FULL VIEW BY ALL MEMBERS OF THE FACILITY.

and yes really, you can do better .

So she asked for it by not staying dressed and it's her fault this a$$hole took a photo of her and published it for the whole world to see? That is the same rationale as "she walked down the street in her short dress so it's her fault she was raped".
I said if you go into a room with 20 other people you run a risk of this happening did I say it was the victims fault no you need to read what I said. Don't get undressed in front of a bunch of strangers if you want to be sure 100% someone isn't taking pictures. People don't care about signs or gym rules, or laws how many times have you read about someone taking pictures of woman in dressing rooms with hidden cameras. You can't get those pictures back they are forever out there. The only way to be sure is don't get undressed in locker rooms. Change at home or in a bathroom stall.

Walking down the street naked; depending on where you live can be called anything from "indecent

exposure" to an actual charge of "sexual assault"; your comparing apples to oranges...

Most gyms/ymca's have signs posted about NO PHOTOGRAPHY (at least in my state) in locker rooms &

they do imply criminal prosecution.
Obviously you didn't read what I said The LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT said they could not file charges because the victim never came forward my speculation was the woman could have been semi-homeless and has not seen the news about this. If she did know about it she could win a sizable lawsuit against Dani Mathers.

USA may forgive her but the LAPD is looking for that woman to see if she wants to bring charges forward.

Picture in question and article is here:

Playboy Model Dani Mathers Body Shamed a Naked Woman at Gym -- Could the Police Get Involved?

Mathers claims that she accidentally made the Snapchat post, further stating that she was unaware that it was publicly accessible to her followers. She insists that it was only meant to be viewed privately by a friend. Mathers quickly deleted the post and issued an apology on Youtube and Twitter, but received an overwhelming amount of negative comments from those who likely saw right through her bull****.

UPDATE: She's been banned from all LA Fitness locations, suspended indefinitely from her spot on the 'Heidi and Frank' radio show on L.A.'s KLOS, and has been dropped by her sponsor 'Profane Clothing' who also gave a personal statement about her questionable professionalism and behavior. LAPD states that Mathers could face a misdemeanor charge if the victim comes forward to file a report. I honestly hope that she does since such malicious behavior should be made an example of.
Whatever money she has made for showing her body off ought to go to the victim. I hope an attorney steps forward and offers to take on the case for the woman whose privacy was invaded and her body shamed.

I hope the Playboy Playmate's career is permanently ended with this. What a horrible, nasty thing to do.

Mod cut: Orphaned (reply to post which has been deleted).

Filming someone in a private setting such as this without their permission and posting it online because you think it's a fun thing to do is despicable. Wtf gives you the right to do something like that. Personally I hope that lady does bring up charges. Maybe Ms "Im so cute everyone loves me he he" will think twice before doing such stupid thing.

Leave it to California to have a flimsy law regarding privacy and naked pictures.

I would still consider a locker room/sauna/open dressing area as a private area, like a men's bathroom with a urinal. You don't go in there expecting to have photos taken, there IS a reasonable expectation you go there to dress and undress or do your business among others doing the same - not to be exposed beyond that.

The Cal law needs to be tightened up.

The real victims were the many people who inadvertently saw the picture of the naked woman on Snapchat.
