It was a center console fishing boat not a go fast.

They tried to cut the jetty and crashed right into it. It is lighted and well marked.

Miami is in serious mourning over this tragedy.

That boat has to be flying judging by the photos.

Right. Nobody forced them to go so fast. They chose to and they get the consequence. I am glad no innocent bystander was killed along with them.

I agree.

Yes it's tragic but thankfully no one else got hurt or killled from the reckless speeding.

Not to mention they were out at bars in South Beach until 3am so pretty sure they were not sober even though authorities say drugs and alcohol not a factor

Yeah, I watched Colon for a while last night.

Here's the thing:
Colon would have seen Fernandez as sort of a little brother. Both Spanish speaking; both pitchers. And Colon is at the end of a wonderful career.
Colon may have seen it the way I do. I would not have thrown my best stuff. Just change the grip a little and take some movement off the fastball and the hitters will take care of the rest. I would not want to be the guy who pitched a no hitter to Miami on Monday.

And the Mets are still in good shape for a wild card slot. Home field advantage for right now, in fact.

Rest Easy, Jose.
Thanks, Bartolo.

Then rather than smearing a dead man's reputation, you should believe the authorities unless tox reports say otherwise.
