News reports are saying that Kim Kardashian was tied up at gun point in her room and robbed of about 10 million dollars worth of jewelry while visiting Paris to see the fashion shows. She was unharmed. I hope she is okay but I have to say part of me is skeptical that this is another publicity stunt. Is that too cynical?

I have also read that she has been showing off her jewelry on facebook online which is not smart. I feel glad she is unharmed, but I hope this is a learning experience for her . Still if this is real it must have been very scary she could have been killed.

Gee, more publicity that's probably worth at least the 10 million! What kind d of idiot carries around that much jewelry?

I smell BS. If I was an employee of her insurance company I'd be looking real close.

Glad she's okay, though.

Inside job possibly. Glad no one got hurt. I don't think its a publicity stunt because it would be too much of one to pull off dealing with law enforcement. A hoax like this coming out would be disastrous also. Im not a fan of any of them regardless.

The kind of idiot that overpays for jewelry.

I do see your point. But I can't help but wonder... one of the things stolen was a ring her husband recently bought for her. Was there insurance on it? I assume that the fancy place she was staying at does not want this bad publicity and neither does Paris who has already lost massive tourism since the terrorism, so that means they will want to examine this very closely and if it is a hoax I hope that it will be made known, however if it is not a hoax I do feel sorry for her, but I hope it will make her examine her life and priorities a little, but then again maybe not.

What is also making news is the amount of hate and lack of sympathy as well as outright suspicion this story is generating on twitter and elsewhere. Just reading the replies underneath the news articles you can see how much she is despised. I really do not understand why the media keeps showing stories about a family people have grown so tired of? It reminds me of how people felt about Paris Hilton years ago.

If this is not a publicity scam, it's still going to be very difficult to garner any sympathy for her.

Anyone who craves attention and will do whatever it takes to maintain her being out there to the extent these useless accessories do is virtually a victim of their own avarice and narcissism.

This is all over the news. My local channel must have mentioned it six or seven times in one hour. I think it was the top story on Good Morning America. Words cannot express how little I care what happens to Kim Kardashian.

The only way I would believe this was real is if she had been badly injured or killed by these violent organized thieves.
