To be honest, as gruesome as being killed by crocodiles sounds, I suppose if I lived that sort of lifestyle, I would find some sort of nobility and poetry in being hunted myself. Better than being mangled in a fiery car wreck or succumbing to cancer like most modern people.
Two crocodiles were killed because the authorities thought he might have been inside one or the other or both. Even after his death he's still responsible for the killing of things.
