Tragic, but really all one needs to make whipped cream is heavy cream, a bowl and a whisk. No need for silly kitchen gadgets. Just use a whisk. Or for the lazy, buy a can of it from the store.
And how would you get to the store?
Horse and buggy?
What if you drove a car and got in an accident?
Silly gadgets.

You both must have missed the answer I already gave to this. If someone wants a single dollop of whipped cream (such as for coffee every morning, as I do), whipping an entire bowl of whipped cream would be a collosal waste. The stuff that comes in a can at the grocery is crap, and being pressurized, I suppose those cans could also be an explosion hazard.
