I see people stealing sodas with water cups all the time. c'mon. A large soda with free refills is a buck.
That said I am growing weary of people who feel entitled to do whatever they want. That girl is lucky she didn't totally taken out by the larger girl. She must have thought she could bluff her way through it and others would back down.
Personally I am glad she got he but whooped and publicly shamed on the internet acting like she did and getting what she deserved.
These employees need to be charged with assault. Need to be put in jail.
I agree that the incident was pathetic.
And I deplore violence.
But, I have to admit that I did not mind seeing that customer get what she deserved.
Years ago, a friend operated a fast food restaurant where we live and he hired students to work at the shop. The owner was good to the employees and the employees were loyal to him. They had a soda fountain and the store policy was that customers could get free refills on drinks but could not share... i.e., could not buy one drink for a whole family. One day, a woman came in with her several kids and ordered one drink, which she refilled several times and shared with her several kids. One of the young employees, a tiny wee girl, told the woman that she was not permitted to share the drink. The woman then threw the drink in the employee's face and slapped the employee across her face.
Had the owner been there when this incident took place, that women would have suffered consequences.
The girl customer in the video was being a jerk. I do hate to see such incidents of violence. But, the old adage is true... if you look for trouble, you're very likely to find it.
I really hope that the employees in this video do not get in trouble, though, I suspect they will be fired to appease an entitled public.
3:20 PM PT -- The brawl video has caught the attention of corporate, a rep tells us the company is investigating the incident. The rep adds, "We do not condone the behavior depicted in this video."
While I don't condone what the employee did. I understand and empathize and may have done the same in her place.

The skanky girl assaulted the brunette Brienne three times before big girl reacted. First bimbo threw a French fry, then the shake, then a tray. The little spitfire was PO-ed because they turned off the soda machine - the one who got her butt whipped was trying to fill the free water cup she asked for with soda from the fountain. She lost it when she didn't get her way, which was to steal soft drinks.
I have zero ----s to give a thief who throws things at employees. Damn tired of these abusive people who have zero skills in civility.
I heard someone describe when he was a child, and there was no food at home, he and his sister would go to a restaurant and sit at a table and order a soda and eat crackers with catsup until they were full. (Back in the day, some restaurants had baskets of sealed crackers on the table for patrons who came in starving and needing something to peck at before their entree was served).
He said he was run off sometimes for doing that.
I have seen people at Pizza Hut taking lemons from the salad bar, sugar, and water and preparing FREE lemonade.
This is the best version of the video I've seen so far. It's clear the customer throws a drink at her, which isn't that bad, but then slams her in the face with a metal tray or plate.
Yes clearly the customers fault Clara...... You can see it started with her and got worse.....
Why act like that when your caught red handed doing wrong?? (What are they supposed to sit back and let people steal from them?)
