Florida, again.

Quote:
A Dania Beach woman was arrested after she pulled a knife on a man who complained about her passing gas while waiting in line at a store.

Shanetta Wilson, 37, was waiting to pay for items inside Dollar General when the man standing behind her in line voiced his displeasure at her farting loudly.

Dania can be rough, it would have been really interesting if the guy pulled a gun and shot her!

Rather than pull a knife she should of used the old line: He who smelt it dealt it.

Best these days to not confront ANYONE in public...you could be assaulted, stabbed, shot.

The only time I'd intervene is if I saw some form of physical abuse and then I'd call the cops.

No one is crying that.

No one will cry that.

There's a lesson in there somewhere, though I doubt you'll be able to discern it.

PS - You don't know what 'snowflake' even means, do you?

A similar thing happened to me at a wedding one time - I had overindulged in a bean stew, and was rewarded with loud trumpeting flatulence.

The groom was upset, because he said it had ruined the service, and it then deteriorated into one of those awkward collar grabbing pushing/shoving fights -it was eventually broken up, but I let the groom know that I was more than happy to take it further, after the speeches were done.

Passing gas is as natural as breathing. We all do it. Some people pass more gas than others because of medical issues. It's something none of us can control.

To confront someone about it is wrong.

To pull a knife on the complainant is wrong.

And to make things even more wrong... the news media runs with the story.

and then we read about it and discuss it.

WTF is wrong with all of us?

That's why I never complain about the SBDs emanating from old men standing in front of me at Wegmans.
