Yea when I read this story yesterday, all I could think was it stunk to high heaven. I definitely don't believe the Russian roulette story at all.
Whole thing is shady. Like what's a married young woman doing at such a late hour in the company of two men at the office?
I don’t think cops hanging out together is that unusual. One of the guys was her partner (not the one who shot her) . By all accounts he was telling them not to do the game.

While she and the shooter were off duty the other two officers present were on. I also don't buy the story.

Not quite. There were three officers present. She was off duty, the other two (partners) were on duty. The apartment belonged to one of the offers who was on duty.

Neither of the male officers was her partner. The two men were partners. They were on duty, she was not.
Surely you can't be suggesting what it sounds like you're suggesting....that it would take a "weapons expert" to understand what can and likely will happen if you play Russian Roulette.
And yet 'Russian Roulette' has been something people have been doing for 100s of years?!
I doubt its suddenly going to stop anytime soon, heck, they even have special gun kits for this game, most are pretty fancy from what Ive seen.
Well, if it went down the way the article states, that takes three crazy cops off the force. That's always a good thing. She wasn't the least bit sane to let someone to squeeze off a round to her chest (If that's what really happened). Neither was the cop who did nothing to stop it...except walk away to leave.

OK, I understood in the story I originally read, not the linked one, that there were her and three others.
My little voice is telling me that this was a bad breakup.
