You obviously don't know him. I guarantee you he has convinced everyone in jail he is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Everyone will adore him. He is extremely charismatic.
Although the guards and such may be enjoying his company, Cosby's Pound Cake Speech may not be sitting too well with the general population. There was a lot of outrage and anger regarding it. Cosby was known to be a harsh critic of poor blacks.

I am sure he would prefer to be in his private house enjoying his retirement years, but that's what happens to convicted rapists.
