Give him another chance to possibly kill someone?

I know, right?! People have been fired and jailed for doing less. I guess fame and money speaks louder than the average man.

I find him skeevy in those commercials, seems like the kind of guy who hit's on his daughters friends.

Bail is just money put up to insure that someone appears in court. I'm rather surprised it wasn't just a PR bond.

I would presume that they considered him a low risk of flight.. Which I would agree with. So, the $100 bond is fairly appropriate.. Just.. Seems a PR would have been better.

Nice to meet someone like you who has never made a mistake in your life or who has no regrets. He is human, period. I have friends who have had DUI's, and , in my earlier years, I partied really heavily and by the Grace of God, I make it home ok and didn't hurt anyone.

He messed up, and none of us know the circumstances......could be a breakup, or some other issue that made him drink a little too much. It think it was Jesus who said something about "Let ye among you without sin cast the first stone" or something to that effect.

Hope he does ok, he comes across as a pretty nice guy on the commercials.

They don't just give you a pat on the back and tell you to behave yourself.

You can tell a lot about a person from watching them act in a 30-second spot.

Actually, I think Sockeye totally nailed it.

I know, right? Like that time I took a shot at someone and missed. Cops had the nerve to call it 'Attempted Murder'. It's not like I hit them.

Why should he get a do over? He was caught DUI. I am not saying that he should be fired or imprisoned, have his license revoked or even be chastised. I hope he does ok too. But he broke the law and we all know that driving under the influence can be deadly. I wish him no ill will in the least. He seems like a good guy to me too... that’s not the point.
And I agree that mistakes should be learning experiences.... not life sentences. He f’ed up and should pay his penance is all I am saying. And I also hope he comes out ok in the end.

Well said & on the mark so as to dovetail with my views.
Compared to some other ad campaign creeps, I'm looking at you smarmy & totally irritating Bad-a-book" (what the heck is that all about?) guy & the equally smarmy, bearded TD Ameritrade guy, the Trivago guy comes across as both likable & straightforward.
