Did you miss the word 'delivery' in delivery driver? Sounds like you think they should just drive near the residence and never get out of the vehicle.
When I delivered food, my name tag had "driver" on it. That is what the company called me, a "driver". When they advertised for help, it said "Drivers Wanted". That is what I was hired to do, drive.

Then I guess driving around that hospital parking lot for 10 minutes was exactly what you were hired to do...
Unnecessarily?! But you're job was to drive. You were driving.
The customer, who like some here thought he knew more about how my job should be done then me, cost me another delivery, and not only delayed his order, but those of other customers after him.

Cost you a delivery? But... Your job was just to drive... Are you now saying your job was actually to deliver food to people?

Not sure why you keep arguing on this. I've worked customer service, and customers being unreasonable and dealing with their B.S. is simply a part of that work. That's why people move on from those jobs when they can.
