We need to revamp the juvenile system. Juveniles should be able to get the appropriate sentencing for the crime without having to fight about whether to try them as adults.

Authorities haven't "released a motive yet" - but apparently there is one. This wasn't random. Did these boys think they could actually pull this off and get away with it?

No, I haven't been able to find anyone who is guessing at the motive. I believe they were both currently in her class, and they stalked her for days, but can't find anyone who seems to know taking a guess.
There is one comment, though, that they were raised in a cult but who knows whether that's true.
I have been following this one. The cops say it wasn’t racially motivated but haven’t commented on the motive otherwise. It seems like there is a lot of evidence against them and it was premeditated. I’d like to know the motive before passing judgment.

How could it be racially motivated? Aren't the two suspects and the victim white?
But they do. Death row inmates remain on death row in their own cells with tvs enjoying life for decades
I doubt there is much enjoyment on death row. I doubt there is much happiness for lifers. Personally, I think life without chance of parole is terrible punishment.
I am in favor of the death penalty if it is administered equitably, but it has not been done so. If you have access to good lawyers, you have a good chance of avoiding it. And as it is practiced in the US, it is barbaric.
I think executing McVeigh was totally appropriate.
But with two young guys who have not fully formed personalities, I don’t know. But both, if equally guilty, need to be locked away for good, IMO, assuming they are found guilty by a jury.
