When the Craigslist killer was arrested, his fiance actually laughed and said, no, you have the wrong guy. But they had the right guy.

Especially if that person is a serial killer. Serial killers don’t reason like an average person. Trying to understand them is like trying to understand a flying pink giraffe shaped like a hippopotamus barfing cheeseburgers.

The only people who can understand serial killers are other serial killers, which is why their family members seldom suspect them.

Another thing to consider with serial killers is, they are opportunistic and some of them don't really understand why they are doing what they are doing. They just DO IT.

One now deceased serial killer admitted he never took the time to think about WHY he would victimize women, he would just act on impulse when he knew no one would see him committing the crime.
