It is suppose to be raining off and on all day (pattie the radar shows lots of rain headed your way too ) so I may wrap and box the things that are not including the wood projects and maybe head off to the post office with them

Feeling a little better but don't want to"push my luck" by heading into the exercise room

Oooo, big mih-take, there Karla. You need your rest.

Yes, it started raining earlier - right now, it's a slow, steady drizzle. We're supposed to get more this evening. We need it, but it's awfully dreary. Guess I'll have to turn on the tree lights to cheer myself up.

Hey! I won $10 at the coffee this a.m.

DH is at the library - he now takes Sat. off and goes there instead of B&N. That's a good thing.

I have some chores to do then I'll wrap DH's gifts. Probably turn on some Christmas music. Hm... time to figure out what we'll be having for Christmas Dinner, I think. We had ham for T'giving, then again when we went to Marty and Dick's for dinner. So I don't think it'll be ham. We did turkey the week after t'giving, so I'm not sure about that. Now, we do a prime rib for New Years, so I think I'm in a quandry here. Maybe something like Cornish hens for DH and lobster tail for me. We always have Pillsbury cinnamon rolls for breakfast while we open our gifts. Maybe he'll feel like making his own this year. We'll see.

OK, gotta go to Open House and say hello, then it's time to get this day rolling.

Take care, all.

Morning all!
I got up at 3:30 am and got cookie dough made! Now on to the butter cookie dough and I can bake tomorrow. Anyway about 6am I got tired and went back to bed for a few Z's. We are all up and will be ready to begin the final push (how oh how did I ever do this with 3 kids and working full time?).
I think I found a telescope but have to run to Toys R Us in order to get it (hopefully they have it). I just might have to call first, probably a smart thing to do. Oh, ya know I did not look at Dunham's the other day, just might have to run up there too.
Nothing else is new, hubby and I just hung out after doctor appointment and he went to bed early (I took a nap yesterday so was up until 11).
Gotta get, busy day.

Morning peeps!

Shadow & I have been out exploring this morning. In a few minutes we are going to head over to our old neighborhood. Shadow's Christmas present was delivered to our old house by mistake so we are going to pick that up and visit with our old neighbors.

Later we might head to the barn.

Not yet. Maggie & I have been going out for dinner and I am leaving the leftovers in the truck overnight. It is cold enough that I have frozen leftovers when I reach for them the next day. Then I nuke 'em for lunch.

I have my K Cup machine with me and I am making maple & brown sugar oatmeal for breakfast. I was thinking this morning that I would like some eggs. I can't wait for my stuff to get here......

Thanks, Karla, but we have some in the freezer - we bought a whole rib not too long ago and cut 'er up. Someplace, I think Sweetbay, has them on for $4.99 for Angus.

Hi everyone,

It's been a busy couple of days. Yesterday was a water meeting all day and lasted until 8:30 even though I came home at 4:30. Big fat ugly mess but I won't get into that.
We went to Ruidoso which is about 2 hours from here the other day to look at a couple of houses just to get an idea. I thought we were moving to Colorado but Charlie keeps bringing Ruidoso up again so I guess it's back on the list and I noticed he's been checking out the Albq. area again. It will all work out in the end.
Karla, I can't take cold meds. They make me all wound up and restless.
Trying to find something good to watch on tv.

Happy Saturday to you ladies.
