I started this about two months ago, but due to setbacks with getting on the team and an injury, I stopped.
However, I am now running with a group of runners for college track, and will share my workouts with you guys.
Monday-30 minute run, easy 7:30 pace. 10 minutes of non-stop abs after the workout.
Tuesday (today)-Same thing. 30 minute run, easy 7:30 pace. 10 minutes of non-stop abs. Also, both days we do ten minute stretching.
Tomorrow-A break for me in the running for my foot. I am still recovering from my stress fracture and need to allow my foot ample time for recovery. This is critical because injuring the foot again before the season starts is just stupid.
Today, I barely did anything. Just did some bicep and ab work, and a half mile warm up, very slowly. My left foot is in a bit of pain right now, and I am not going to aggravate it like I did my right foot. So I'm going to ease into the running very slowly still, and take days off periodically. It doesn't seem so bad as before, so it may not be an issue.
