I'm not good with the titles, but that's right!!!!!!! Time for a food journal. If you're like me, I exercise and then need eating accountability. Let's start by listing what we ate each day and deciding if we met or failed our food goals. Feel free to list at night or the next day.

I'll come back to list what I ate today in a few hours (it's just past 4:00 here).

Fabulous food fact: Eat fiber with a sweet to slow simple sugar from rushing into your bloodstream, which helps prevent sugar from being stored as fat.

Thanks for the hint, I was pretty good today besides breakfast and most days I rememeber to bring oatmeal to work. Forgot today

Breakfast was everything bagel with cream cheese (sorry)
Then I had grapes for a snack
Cukes and tomato for lunch, with some yogurt raisin's for dessert
Plum for snack
Mahi Mahi (think that is how it is spelled) lightly browned in olive oil then baked with green peas. That was dinner.

Probably come up with something for a snack, but since I have to account it will be good for me!

Oh, coffee, ice tea, and water to drink.

Evey! I put creamer in my tea sometimes, too! We had friends from England that we lived with when I was a little girl, and the woman taught us to drink tea with creamer. How fun!

Cassy, you get the prize for healthiest day so far! Way to go!

Here's mine:
Granola cereal for breakfast with whole milk (my son has to drink it whole)
Half a pear, handful of grapes
A handful of honey roasted almonds
two bites mac and cheese (my son's)
A few animal crackers (my son's)
chicken salad sandwich for lunch
Half a twice baked potato
Lots of water (it's AZ... I can't keep track!)
batsami (spelling?) rice with chicken, pineapple, almonds, mango, and fresh mint and romaine lettuce for dinner (it was good!!!)
Green beans

I'll be having a tofu ice cream sandwich for dessert in ten minutes as well!

Overall, I'd say that I met my goal. I should have substituted the potato for carrots or something, though, and I shouldn't be eating my son's stuff! Now that I have to type it out at the end of the day, I'll avoid it!

I swear that they really are good! My hubby likes the mint flavor, my sister likes key lime, and I like the chocolate flavor. Seriously, I would never even think of it, but my sister made me try it!
