Yes, I know all that...and one needs to be up on their levels as this is one major area for fatigue issues.

A banana just doesn't do it...plus lots of sugar in bananas. One may contain 100mg potassium depending on size of it. There are lists of potassium rich foods and I don't eat bananas personally...

Just bringing stuff to people's attention that they may have never thought about.

Fatigue is a nonspecific finding that may be associated with many conditions. For you to arbitrarily declare that it's due to a potassium deficiency, and then to suggest to strangers whose medical history you know nothing about (and wouldn't understand it if you did) that they should take high amounts of potassium supplements in disingenuous. Typical, but disingenuous.

Oh for pete's sake, yes, there are MANY reasons that can be possible for fatigue...but the potassium is probably not looked at by MANY. Not disingenuous. Moderator cut: rude comment

Okay, checked my test results and Potassium is 4.4 and the normal range is 3.5-5.0 so that's cool.
RBC is 4.62 and normal range is 3.93-5.16.
I'm telling you I'm like Mary Poppins. Practically perfect in every way.


My Cholesterol is really the only red flag. I'm supposed to go back and get tested. I think he said 3 months.

In the mean time I'm trying to get 8hrs sleep minimum.

So today I had a pretty good headache. I'm taking all meds and supplements consistently.
It's probably stress, though I take something for that, too.
I got home and took an Excedrin, drank some tea and had supper. Better now.
My back is borderline going out so there's that.

So many worried about cholesterol and on another health group a member said something to this effect:

The longest living people on the planet have high cholesterol and lowering it has no sway on having heart attacks and strokes. They are not related at all.

Sugar and grains cause inflammation which causes heart attacks. Go low carb.

Also mentioned was getting magnesium, potassium and other minerals in good place.
