Good morning! Well, I thought it was going to be another early one when my eyes opened up at 3:00 a.m. this morning, but somehow I managed to fall back to sleep until now. Lacey, we're all hoping your feeling better after the Dr.'s this morning, please let us know how your doing. So what is on your schedule for today? No news for us yet with the inspection but my realtor seems to think no news is good news. I'm just not that confident yet. The radon test will be picked up this morning and then the open pit septic inspection is scheduled for Monday. Tea with sugar in the raw and soymilk......happy Friday everyone! Jeannie

Good morning Jeannie. Not feeling too good today. My tummy is a little bit queasy and I don't know why.

Moreover I'm a bit disapointed...well that's a bit of a story. My parents both have their birthdays in March so we gave them a gift card for a really nice classy restaurant to have a special dinner or lunch or whatever they like their. It's a really old mansion incl. hotel and also pretty expensive.
They went their yesterday (with my grandparents who also got a giftcard but for their anniversary this May) and all night both have been sick and throwing up. My mother thinks it might have been the chicken dish she had b/c my dad had some of her leftovers. They are feeling really ill and have been lying on the sofa all day.

Now I'm dissapointed b/c it was quite expensive and wasn't good at all. The food wasn't very good, the ice cream was hard as rocks and they had to "pay" more that they ordered.

Nothing planned for today. I'm still really tiered and will probably go to bed very early tonight.

Buttered slice of raisin bread.
Turkish bread stuffed with kinda meat and lotsa veggies for lunch.

Judi, how was your appt.? Hope you're feeling better today!

Oh, I'm sorry Diana. Could that be why your stomach is queezy? Maybe something going around? Well, it really was a wonderful gift from you and I'm sure your parents know that. Feel better sweetheart.

MM, I'm so sorry for your feeling poorly today...just relax and take it easy. Nothing worse then an upset tummy! UGH!
I'm hoping Lacey is feeling better too. Still haven't heard anything from her.........
I agree with VillageLLife...if possible report the problem as you may save some other unlucky soul from the same fate!! Besides, yoiu deserve to get your $$ back I would think! Perhaps then your parents and grandparents could enjoy a good meal together. I'm sure they all know this place was suppose to be good---it just happens sometimes!

Good morning all. We slept in. Mr. VA pulled his professional type desk chair out of the computer room and is sitting in it watching an action packed movie on TV. All is well here. Hope everybody else gets well soon.

coffee and milk
kiwi
2 eggo waffles

It is sunny today, so you know what that means. I get to ride the lawnmower and chase the snakes. LOL Just kidding about the snakes, I hope.

Morning all-well back from doc and next Thurs he will do an endiscope and stretch my esophagus. I have had this on and off for years and this was the worst yet. I still can't think of food- I was dehydrated so I'm drinking tea and water.

Thanks all for the thoughts and Diana-your poor parents and yes call the restaurant!
