Good morning! If everything goes as planned, this will be the last family get together before we leave NJ. My baby niece is having her Christening today followed by a BBQ at my sister's house. The weather is looking a little iffy at the moment so I hope that holds up. So what is on your schedule for today? Tea with sugar in the raw and soymilk at the moment......have a fabulous day everyone! Jeannie

Hi Jeannie-sort of a bittersweet day! I'm so happy for you and hope weather holds out.

Not much going on here today. Just up so will see.

Sounds like a good get together. I am recovering from the hours on the road yesterday. I think I would like a traveling job, but after taking more than an hour to go less than five miles, I may rethink that. People were pulling over because their cars were overheating and others were trying to ride on the shoulder of the road. Made for a very stressful slow down. We kept wondering when there would be another wreck. Luckily we heard on the radio why traffic was not moving. We are used to a lake view slow down in that area. The traffic actually slows down because people are looking at Lake Norman. Vacuum, shopping and laundry are in my schedule. Nothing more.
Coffee and milk
orange
1 small bag of corn chips

Yes, I-77 is busy now. When it was first built we lived in Charlotte and then we moved to Union County in 1975. It cut about an hour off our trip from Charlotte to where our parents lived. At that time we could put our car's cruise control on when we got on I-77 at exit 65 and cruise without touching the brakes until we exited at Carowinds. It is a much different world here now. With good traffic and just a little slow down now we are 2 hours and 10 minutes from where my mother lived. Exit 33 is almost exactly half way. I-485 made the trip from here much better.

Good afternoon, Jeannie, Judi, Izzy, Diane, Autumngal and Steve. Roll call, who did I miss. I know we have some new ones. Please forgive me, I am getting old.

I had samples at Sam's that do not count. (Pizza, apple pie, yogurt, several different ices, and breaded flounder.) Love my bonus food.

Chicken dog
bun
2 T. relish
1/2 English cucumber
vanilla Activia--It tastes like cheesecake. Yum, Yum!
Coffee and milk

I had dinner at a Thai Restaurant;Went with a friend
We shared the coconut vegetable soup; The soup had some lemony taste to it. there were carrots, broccoli and some things I could not recognize. It was in a metal funnel shaped container, the soup was around the funnel the middle part was hollow, there was some flames coming out from the hollow area. interesting!

good nite!
