So, everyone will be happy to know I started packing yesterday for the first time. Now I have 9 days to go. Tea with sugar in the raw with soymilk......have a fabulous Monday! Jeannie

Morning Jeannie - 9 days! You must be ultra organized to be able to accomplish packing in that time. Last time we did some and movers did the rest.

Boy, 9 days? When going on vacation for a week I start packing two weeks before the vacation. How do you do that?

It's been a great and also lazy weekend that's why I haven't used the PC at all. I slept a lot, cooked dishes according to new recipes, went to a b-day party and to the movies, so no time for the www.

Mug of low-fat milk with a handful cinnamon cereals
leftover steak with tomatoe/onion sauce and mozzarella cheese and vermicelli nests
small vanilla sundae

I will go shopping to look for new shoes for DS today so nothing interesting and exciting planned.

So where's Steve with his vacation report?

Good morning, Izzy, Jeannie, Judi, Steve and Diana. Welcome anyone new.
Nine days to pack! It is so amazing how fast things go once you get a closing date. Jeannie, do you have a place to stay in North Carolina?
Diana, how those little feet grow. I went shopping at the new Target at Wesley Chapel yesterday and saw such cute little clothes and shoes, but I am afraid to buy anything sized.
Strawberry fruit2/O
banana
Strawberry yogurt--it was not as good as the vanilla.

Good morning, Jeannie, Diana, Judi, NCN, Izzy, and Autumn. Dang... so much has happened since I've been gone!

Jeannie - congrats on the offer... now... positive thinking until the 20th!! That's right around the corner.. think about where you were just two short weeks ago and where you are now. You may not be packed... but I would dust off the suitcases just in case!!

Judi - Now... it's Monday... where's the report?!?! What's going on... sheesh.. this is worse than a 6 month Arabian Gulf deployment where even the guys in the Chief Petty Officer's mess (eating area) got wrapped up in soap opera tapes!!! Sheesh... can't leave a guy hanging like that!!! Don't you know we have the patience of a three year old (a MATURE three year old).

Diana - fell off the wagon? "The spirit is strong but the flesh is weak"?? My goodness, you do better with your diet by accident then I do on purpose!!! Steve's philosophy of the world is that it's not what you eat but how much. Even a handful of chips is okay, but not the whole bag. I don't think you overdo it in any fashion (and if you do, that's fine, too!). Exception, not the rule.

Izzy - I know it's belated, and she probably will think I'm just some internet freak... but if you get the chance, please pass on that I wish her well for her 88th. Tell her those were the tough ones.. the next 88 come easier.

NCN - Don't stop the afternoon naps!! That's what life is worth living for!! hehe. How long do you nap for? If it's only an hour or two, that's good. But if it's 4-5 hours ... yeah.. can get ugly. I used to get into that mold when I would get back from deployments because on the ship, you work 7 days a week, 12-20 hours a day depending. So, you try to catch up with sleep when you get into port. Then you spend 2 weeks trying to get back on schedule!!! Hey... if you look tired sometimes... sun glasses work! hehe

Autumn - Last Friday did you visit an apple farm, or did you mean you own one? What type of apples? I'm a fruit freak... I can eat fruit until I'm sick to my stomach!

6:55 - Two breakfast tacos, vitamins, Coke (full one.. it's the first Monday after a vacation - I needed it!)

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning! yay! 9 days and counting! Whoopeee!

Thanks Steve! 88 is good,I hope I am as healthy as she is,she walks without a cane and is pretty sharp for her age

Lacey,I have an idea; Are there many Chinese buying property there?
Here many properties are listed with 8 at the end, don't use 4
Even if there are no Chinese,it's a great way to be eye catching! Do a $----888 or ----88 or ----898. 9 is great befoer the 8. try it!

tea this morning

Lunch today was left over ribs (I made pork ribs 3 ways last night - Barbeque (covered with sauce), seasoned/rubbed, and marinated). Kids had asked for it since they got back, and since it was only 104 degrees last night, I thought it was okay to BBQ.

Everyone doing okay, today?
