hee hee, Good morning Everyone. Rise and shine...ok maybe it is a little too early for that, but it is Tuesday! 12:38 am

I am tip toeing and trying to be quiet to let Jeannie, NCN, Lacey, Izzy, MiguelsMom, Rath (oh wait you should be up, good day-lol) and did I miss anyone? ..yes trying to be quiet so they can sleep.
Little do they know I am really tired and in a "silly mood" and cannot stop laughing.
Remember that when you were a lil kid? Parents said go to bed. And you would laugh with your best friend or sibling instead of sleeping. And you laughed at nothing but silliness alllll night long. Parents would give a slight holler "go to sleep". And of course that would make us laugh more. Hands went over the mouth trying to restrain the laughs and giggles.

Here is a photo I took a few years ago of the sun coming up over our woods.
Looks like the forest was on fire. And trust me I had to go out in my p.j.'s and check to make sure that was not the case. But thought you all would enjoy a nice colorful sunrise.

Yes NCN we had an apple orchard. 1500 trees. We had an 80 acre farm up in MN we used to play on. Zeb is below with his apple tree.

AG your the best, thank you! No sleep last night, but its my last day of work and I need to say good-bye to everyone there. 17 years is a long time in the same unit. I've been spoiled there. Your pics are beautiful! The apple orchard background is perfect with Zeb's beautiful coat. Tea with sugar in the raw at the moment. Steve, all I can say about the missing sugar in the raw is...it wasn't me!

Good morning all!

Autumngal, gr8 pics!

It's already lunch time and I'm going to have some zucchini omelett today. I might as well toast a white wheat bun to go along with it.

For breakfast I had a yogurt with some chocolate chips.

Izzy, sleep well and sweet dreams!

Have a great start for a new day.
Diana

Jeannie, hope you have a good last day at work. I would be weeping all over my desk if I had to leave my colleagues!

yes Diana, that will be me, I'm way too emotional over these things. This was my first nursing job after I graduated. Even saying good-bye to all the great Dr.'s I was so fortunate to work with over the years...I should be a real mess at the end of the day. Diana, thanks so much for your well wishes and enjoy that omlette!

Jeaanie-a bittersweet day for sure. Tears are okay.

Hi Autumn, Diana,Izzy,NCN, Steve.

Yesterday was such a dark, cold, rainy day-had me craving comfort food so badly. How am I going to make it thru these horribly long MN winters??? Yuk.

Oh and nope-no offer came thru yesterday.

Wanted to start my first response today with a "thank you" to all of you for making me feel so welcome here from the first day. That "thank you" extends into welcoming me back only after 2 days of vacation. I really appreciate it. I guess all anyone wants in life is to feel like they fit in, and y'all really make me feel that way!

Okay... done with my feminine, touchy-feely, expressing my emotions side!

Jeannie... take is slow and steady... your packing is a marathon, not a sprint. I'm sure you're doing fine, but just don't do more than you can, it won't help you or the family. I feel sorry for you having to say goodbye. Unfortunately, because that's the way of the military services (in the Navy we moved every three years) you get good at saying goodbye, but even better at not getting close enough to let it hurt when you have to. I have deep regrets that after serving my country, I have no (read: zero) friends outside my family that I either go out with, have come over to my house, or have any sort of history with. So, count your blessings for the years you had, Jeannie, and treasure them always (I know you will). Today will be tough for you, and I can feel for what you will be going through.

Diana...yogurt with chocolate chips... you know what... you are so good at putting food together! I constantly am amazed at how wonderful the things you eat are. I go back through and try to make mental notes so I can write them down later to try. Of course, I have the memory of a goldfish (5 seconds) and forget EVERY time! hehe. Oh... I never did thank you for the German potato salad recipe. I have the ingredients on my list to get next time I go shopping!! Thank you!!

Autumn... why did you think I would be up at 12:30 am? Wait! You know I have no life?!? hehe. I'm in west Texas. I get up for work at 5:30 am and work from 7:00 am until 3:00 pm. So, as boring as this sounds, I'm normally in bed by 9:00-10:00 pm. Loved the pictures. Because of my working on a military base, I'm surprised I could see them. The firewall blocks most pics from being seen from me (I'm surprised I can access this site to be honest). If I ever disappear, it's because they are on to me and this site, and block it!

Judi... it will come... and as exciting as it is for you, please let us know so we can be happy with/for you!! Waiting is the worst, and I can empathize with you on that!!!

NCN... instead of waiting to see if you run into Autumn, next time you go down to visit your son, pre-arrange a lunch and hook up! (See how easy it is for me to just throw myself into that which is not my business! hehe).

Izzy... hope all is well with you. See it's been hot out there (like everywhere it seems this summer), so keep cool and take care of yourself!

When I walked to the freezer I found that one of my colleagues threw away my last white wheat bun b/c they didn't know whom it belonged to so I only had the omelette for lunch.

vanilla sundae for snack

Talking rubs eyes, tries to focus

I'm up, I'm up, Good Morning!!! LOL!!

oops sorry Steve I thought you worked nights.

Jeannie, what an exciting day but also emotional and I completely understand. All my traveling days it was always hard to leave somewhere.
Leaving the friendships you have made and the people that were a part of your everyday life. Not easy on the heart that is for sure.

haha!! Good morning Izzy! w00t w00t right back at yaz friend.

Lacey so sorry no offer came thru. It will happen tho, and you just stay positive and keep looking forward.

miguel's mom, think we need to come over and try some of your omelletes. They sound yummo!

NCN hope you are enjoying your NC day. It is a gorgeous morning round here ..again. These mornings are just rockin' with sunshine and the sweet air.

had some iced tea to try and wake up
