Good morning! How was everyone's weekend? Ours was a wet one. My in-laws left NJ on Saturday sunny and in the 50's and came down to cold and wet. Hopefully by tomorrow the sun should come out and things should start warming up a bit. Judi checked in yesterday and arrived safely in NJ. Coffee with sugar in the raw and soymilk......happy Monday everyone! Jeannie
Our weather girl reminded us that last year we were begging for rain and this is really helping our drought, but it would be nice to help our drought when your in-laws are not visiting. This is the most rain days in a row I have seen in a very long time.
Coffee and milk
Dark chocolate and nut nature valley bar
banana
That is going to have to last through water exercises. I am a brave soul this morning.
I just sat down infront of the computer and am munching on a pineapple right now.
Jeannie and NCN, we also have a lot of rain. I can't remember a day/night when it didn't rain... Today I put some crocus bulbs into the lawn (hope DH won't kill me) and I pray they won't drown...
Good to hear that Judi arrived safely. She must be having a great time!
My weekend was quite relaxing altho' we had to go to the hospital with DS on Sat. He vomited and had belly cramps and fever. He's a bit better, at least the vomiting has stopped. I'm deviding my 20 hours I have to work this week on only 3-4 hours per day, depending on the work so I can be with him. When I'm not at home my grandmother has him at her house and takes good care of him.
We found out that he loves the 7 dwarfs in snow white so we had to watch some parts of the Disney movie over and over.
a bite of white wheat bun with plum jam (DS didn't give me much of his bun )
lunch was Indian (chicken breast in a coconut sauce with veggies and curry)
dessert: Greek jogurt with raspberries and a lot of brown sugar on top of it to make the fruits sweeter
Dinner: 1/4 pineapple
Going to bed now to go on reading. It has its advantages that DH is not at home 3 nights a week.
Diana- Oh your poor baby. Take care of the little angel.
Glad to hear Judi arrived safely.
Wet and drizzly today. One of our cows had a baby today. The first baby of the year. It was weigh in day and I've lost 8 pounds in 4 weeks. I'm half way there. Woo hoo.
Lisa, are those your cows I saw in the pictures? I am a little confused. I thought you just bought a little land at the top of the hill. Did you buy the whole hill? How about the bull, is it yours too? You saw the reading joke. I thought that was funny about the bull charging. Our grandpa used to have a bull and Mom wouldn't let us go into the field to pick chinquapins when the bull was anywhere in sight. She said bulls are dangerous animals. Thus the phrase, "Mad as a bull." They just go crazy sometimes.
Did water exercises than went to the weight room and did more than a mile on the step machine and used more than 100 calories.
Lunch was healthy choice chicken and rice
cantalope
Coffee and milk
Dinner was delicious Italian chicken baked with cream of mushroom soup
Coffee and milk
Nectarine--had to use portions of two because they had seen better days.
I have salad and bread to snack on later. I am full.
Give little Miguel a hug from us all and tell him I hope he gets better.
Yes, glad Lacey made it all right and even more glad she let us know. Remember when someone did not look at her e-mail and let you know Jeannie was all right. Sorry.
Diana, I do hope the little one is okay now.
Enjoy your book!
