Morning Izzy,Carmac,NCN,Lisa and Jeannie.

Had my blood work this morning (no coffee til after-yuk)-my stopping cholesterol drugs didn't help-mine doubled!!! And eating the way I do-he said it's just my body producing it. I'm disappointed but hey I tried.

Breakfast was out and poached eggs on dry whole wheat eng muffin.

Lunch-grapes

Dinner leftover meatloaf (hot sandwiches), fries for Mr. L, salad for me.

Lacey...I'm sorry to hear about your chloresterol going up. That happened to my husband...his was like 240...he cut out eggs, cheese, fried food, the works, he also took garlic tablets, and he's also big on riding his bicycle...his went up to 260!!! It's like the body knows you're cutting back, and produces more!!

Izzy...I'll have to try the cocoa in my coffee sometime.

I went for a post-op check today...all's well! I took my friend with me and we had lunch at Chili's. I had:

Salsa with about a dozen chips,
Bowl of tortilla soup
Caesar Salad

Having 1/2 of a Subway sandwich for dinner with some Baked Lays BBQ Potatoe Chips.

Hope you all have a great evening...

Garlic tablets are pretty useful! love tortilla soup.

I went to the Hometown buffet just for the soup and salad bar for $4.99. I also had tortilla soup.

That will be my dinner too. I ate late around 3:00.

I have been a couch potato most of the day and even went to sleep for a while. I have had my foot elevated so my broken toe would get better.

I tried to post this morning--typed it out and everything, but it would not post. I am not going to bother to repeat it. I will see you all tomorrow. I have been searching for vacation locations for about two hours and I am getting a little tired of the computer. It is running like a snail and I am beginning to be irritated at it.

The best check up I have had in years was after I had spent a couple of months prunning my bushes from around the fence. The doctor keeps preaching exercise. LOL You all know how I feel about that. I will probably start back next week. I have milked this food for all it is worth.

Hi All! Trying to recover from a stomach/intestinal virus. A real nasty one I must have picked up from work. I did lose another 3.5 lbs.although I don't recommend getting sick to do so. I'm going to try to get to the gym today depending on how I'm feeling. Hope everyone is well. Have a great weekend!
