Morning all-to be a little icy,etc today. Have food shopping to do as we're getting snow this weekend.

Wow only 10 days left in January!

Had Mr. L's pre-op yesterday and 3 hrs.-it was so frustrating. We were going out to eat but were both so aggravated that we had the pea soup (delicious) and grilled cheese-I had 1/2, Now they want a nuclear stress test and he's furious-it's called "soak the ins."

Okay I vented.

Breakfast-yog/fruit as always.

Lunch will be out.

Dinner we're planning out but we'll see.

Good morning, Lacey. Don't get me started on too many tests. Last time I went to the dentist, I refused to have X-Rays. I told them that between the operation and my broken toe I felt I had already had enough X-Rays for the year. I can see I am going to be a cantankerous old lady.

Izzy, did you just turn Southern? LOL How much is your area affected by this rain? You have been on my mind a lot lately. We are having cold rain today too. I hate cold rain. It is going to be windy today too, so umbrella's won't help much. It is a good day to stay in, but I think we will probably go to the aquatics center. We are trying to make up for all that lazy time in December.

We will be watching California on the weather channel, but I hope you won't be in the news, Izzy.

I had eight X-Rays yesterday. I know that they are trying to keep us healthy, but you wonder if all of that was necessary.

Hi everyone...I'm not sure what has happened to me, but I'm having trouble with posting these days...I guess I just needed a break! I will try to start posting here again each day...y'all are just so supportive!

I need to lose 10 lbs. and get back on track...don't know what's happened in this area either!

It rained all night here and it's supposed to continue until Saturday! We are in no danger out here, but some of our streets are flooded, so I'll most likely stay in again today. I was caught in a real downpour on Tuesday...I had to go to the Dr. for an injection (euflexxa) in my bad knee, so couldn't avoid going out. I had to drive nearly 20 miles on the freeway to get home, but everyone was being so cautious that I was able to drive 35 mph in the slow lane without being in anyone's way...kinda nice for a Southern California freeway! Okay...enough of me...

So far this morning:

Cup of coffee with French Vanilla Creamer.
Corn muffin crumbled up in milk for breakfast.

Not sure about the rest of the day...will get back later...

Have a good day my friends!

Hi Carmac-welcome back friend.

Well shopping's done and our store had a customer appreciation week where you spend $100 and you get a $25 gift card for the store. We are stocked up and I also got all the necessary cards for a busy Feb-Valentine's for the 6 grands, 2 kids, anniversary, 3 B-days, new house for our son, get well for a friend. So in essence the cards paid for themselves-at least that's my excuse.

Lunch was out and it was a Mexican omelet and whole wheat eng muffin.

Dinner will be 3 wings at Cheers tonight. They are huge and delicious.

Thank you Judi...

Hubby volunteers at the local Senior Center on Thursdays, so he brings home a meal for each of us...

We split...
...a Chicken Parmesean Patty with noodles and Marinara.
Then I had a 100 Cal. pkg of Pepperidge Farm 'Milano' Milk Chocolate Cookies

It's 1:30 pm and after raining hard all day, the sun just came out...the wind is really blowing though, so don't know how long the lull will last!

Good afternoon.

Dinner in the middle of the day was potatoes, chopped onions, tomato, lettuce (made a non-fat potato salad) and two mini corns on the cob and water to drink. I just finished it.

I will probably have salsa and corn tortilla chips for dinner. And more water.
