First , I want to let you all understand what I do.. I am a Living Stager. My family and I stage homes, live in them till they sell. We started staging homes as a means to survive in a bad economy and truly it has been fantastic for us due to the it has helped us stay afloat. There are staging companies out there, but have found it more beneficial for us to stage alone, working closely with the realtor and owners. It has been a great adventure and we feel a since of duty, helping stage, present and assist to sell since we are contracting out ourselves. It has been pretty successful with the last house going under contract very fast. We started looking at places to rent then we were presented with another opportunity to stage. The family asked us to help them take care of it. I though am in a pickle.

We have to wait, till the family can move from the residence into their new home/

So for about 3 weeks, we want to be in one of those extended stay places.

I though am not that knowledgeable about the best areas. I have been looking on the board here and have seen people say that you have to be careful in those due to they can be unsafe. I don't want to discriminate others, I though don't want to be anywhere, where I feel that we could be comprimised. I was wondering though, aren't there some pretty descent ones in Plano? I want to choose Plano due to it is close to my child's school. I looked into Oakwood and the price tag is too heavy for us.
Any experience here with these suites, please give me all your 2 cents.

There are more than several extended stay hotels around the hospital at Preston Road and Plano Parkway. It also backs up to the George Bush Tollway. I think that's Baylor Plano Hospital. Very save area.

I stayed at the Intown suite in Carrolton, for three months. I never felt unsafe, but the entry level rooms were small

We had to stay in a Homewood Suites for a week while we were having work done in our house a few years ago. This was with 2 school aged kids and school was in. It was nice being able to go downstairs for breakfast and not having to deal w/ that before we took them to school. They also had a dinner every night downstairs. Back then they also had a big contract w/ Verizon to house their employees that were here putting in all of the fiber optic lines. We felt very safe. This was at the one right off of 190 and Jupiter. There are two other "suite" type hotels in that area now. I had a relative stay in one of them when they were between houses for a few weeks and they felt safe as well (and this was a VERY picky relative).
