My husband and I are looking to buy our first home in the Frisco Ranch community in Little Elm, TX. We have decided on a new D.R. Horton home, but are a bit skeptical after reading such horrible reviews about the company.

Has anyone in the Little Elm/Frisco area had experience with the builder D.R. Horton?

My realtor told us that the only negative thing she has heard about them is that their building process is slower than other companies. Any other positive/negative feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Please remember that consumer complaints are not allowed. Send the OP a DM if you have something negative to say.

I don't have experience with them as a buyer. However, a slower building process is not a negative from my perspective. What's the end result?

I'd go knock on some doors in the neighborhood and ask around. Better getting info now rather than later...

So positive reviews are OK but negative reviews are not?

Hmm. I never realized that. Maybe they should rename the site "city-praises.com" or something data isn't any good if half of it isn't allowed

It brings up liability issues for the site owner. You can be as negative as you like in a DM. The problem is we are all anonymous and a poster could be a competitor of the business being slammed and we wouldn't know.

I guess Grand Homes is the exception, since none of the threads about them have been removed, and they certainly aren't glowing....

What got started a longish time ago, when things weren't as noticed as they are now, has to stand due to the number of posts. We don't delete old threads with tons of posts.
