Just wondering if anyone has insight into Dominion at Panther Creek community in Frisco (Darling homes):

Crime/Safety
Neighborhood amenities
Access to shopping
Long term appreciation potential (since it is still being built out)
Traffic

Also, this community maps to Tadlock Elementary school. Looked up the stats and it seems it has 17% economically disadvantaged kids - is that a normal percentage?

Any thoughts on Maus Middle and Heritage High (that this community maps to)?

Thanks for your input!

You should take some time to get to know the areas better (rent for a year then buy). I've ~1/2 my life in Texas, ~1/3 in the Bay Area & still thought I could have made a 'better' decision on a micro-level. I had former coworkers (from when I previous worked in the DFW area) trying to steer me into Allen instead of North Plano, etc. You know what's best for you and your family, and no place is perfect, ... but from my perspective Tadlock is noticeably different from Skaggs/Andrew/Wyatt.

I would stay away from 17% economically disadvantaged, and notice the elementary school areas adjacent to your prospective elementary (including other ISDs). Granted where I am there are lots of rich spoiled kids and that definitely has it's problems also ... It's not what's 'normal', it's what you are looking for in your budget / time frame / constraints / etc.
