OK, this will probably annoy some purists but which is the best place to buy ready-to-eat Turkey?

Preferably near Carrollton, Irving or Coppell. We have some renovations going on & won't be able to cook Turkey this Thanksgiving

Here are a couple of choices - it's unlikely that you will be able to get one at this late date (but worth a try):

The Cajun Turkey Store Retail Location – Cajun Turkey Company
Luby's Cafeteria (http://lubys.com/en/ - broken link)

There are several, but you'll need to call them asap at this late date:

Boston Market- roasted turkey
Cowboy Chicken - wood-smoked rotisserie turkey
Dickey's Barbecue Pit (http://www.dickeys.com/catering/hams_turkeys.aspx - broken link) - smoked or cajun-fried turkeys
Honey Baked Ham - smoked or roasted whole turkey or turkey breast

-- all highly recommended, plus the usual grocery store deli cooked turkeys.

Also, check the premades
from this Thanksgiving thread.

If I knew the Dallas forum better, or actually the OP, I'd invite you over. We're new in Carrollton and it's just the 3 of us, with a ton of food. Good luck finding something.......or maybe you could delay your Thanksgiving until the renovations are complete! I know I'd be thankful for that.
