Anyone else see the meteor last night? It happened some time between 6:30-7:00 PM. I was walking into the Texas Land and Cattle next to Bass Pro in Garland, looked up (eastward) and the bright yellow fireball came in, going straight down before breaking up.

Pete Delkus on Channel 8 was talking about a "green light" that many reported but what I saw was definitely yellow, large and quite bright. I had let my wife off to go inside first so she missed it. But it was probably the brightest one I've ever seen.

I saw it too. Was passing by Hackberry Creek when my wife and me noticed it streak straight down. Seemed definitely bright and lasted almost half a second.

Have seen a brighter one in the past; that one actually ended up hitting a farm. More of a meteorite than a meteor.

Thru the years I've seen many [of different sizes and colors] I saw one in Maine back around summer 91 was large and left a trail of smoke. Heard 2 fishing boats yelling about it hitting the water close.
