The thread rageman24 made seems to have sparked some CHL discussion and rather than derailing his thread, I figured it wouldn't hurt anyone if I made my own
What do you guys carry? How do you carry it? Any and all CHL-related local information is welcome!

I've lived in Texas for 35 years and never carried nor do I plan to. I've never been in a situation where I needed a weapon to feel safe and plan with some luck to keep it that way. I drive defensively and am that way in all aspects of life after living in NYC suburbs (NJ side). Keep your eyes open and look careful where you are headed and you can avoid some situations that may arise.

Touching story, but this isn't a debate on whether or not someone should carry, or why or why someone should or shouldn't carry. It's simply asking what you carry and where/how.

I carry a little Kel-Tec .380 in my pants pocket, but sometimes a Ruger 9mm when I'm in a bad area (esp. in wintertime when wearing a coat). Yes, I do have a CHL - 10 years.

Oh well...I guess I don't have a problem with people carrying...Constitution and all that...I dont though...but seeing all these chicks packing reminded me of a date I went on eons ago back in college. This girl on the first date matter of factly told me that she had once shot and killed a man in self defense...I was staring in shock...I guess she took that for disapproval because she then started ranting and raving about how many men were crazy out there and she was ready for all of them...I smiled...whilst praying frantically that I could make it out alive...needless to say I told the chick that I was moving to another country and never spoke to her again...though I wonder if she ever saw me would she get mad and come after me??? The college years sometimes I wonder how I made it through alive...gotta love 'em.
