I just switched to Bounce Energy from Reliant (why did I stick with them for so long?!).

You can get both with Bounce. I've got 8.3c/12mo fixed with their rewards program. Make sure to sign up for paperless and auto bill pay.

I sent you a link if you want to save $75 on your first bill with bounce.

+1 on Bounce. Pretty awesome... I have it for close to 3 years now!

I am going with Amigos as that's the best fixed rate available in my area.

I was going to go with bounce, even customized a good plan, and then I read the disclosure form. I would only be getting that 8.2 cents if I used 2000+Kwh a month. My peak last summer was 1900, average is closer to 1200, which would be 9.2 cents for them. Always make sure you read the Electricity Facts Label. Amigo Energy is ANYTHING but your friend. I found this on this Facts Form:
Quote:
(NOTE: a monthly base charge of $19.95 will apply if the usage is below 1000 kwh in a month), and (iv) all
recurring charges. This fixed price disclosure does not include applicable federal, state and local taxes or any fees
(including gross receipt tax reimbursement), other amounts charged by a governmental entity, and all other non-recurring
fees.

This product has additional Non-recurring
So basically during the winter you can expect your bill to be $20 higher.
