I assume you are speaking of the lovely ladies who walk this particular part of town? They must have been extremely attractive indeed. What is the French name for prostitutes? If we can't get them to relocate to Houston, perhaps we can change their name to a French one?

It's a area in which you only travel if needed and during the daylight. It has anything you could every think of for a "knock off" brand. They have multiple use stores, that have strange services offered.

There's also one of the oldest "diners" ever that's still around called The Mecca. Not a chain, a lot like Mama's Daughters. On the southeast corner of HH & Lombardy, right near the old Letot academy.....

I've lived most of my adult life in Dallas and HH has been fun to watch over the years. Its always been seedy, earthy and interesting......
