Ok hope that got your attention. I went once years ago, it was a fun place with a very old fashioned, kid fun outside.. sad to hear it bit the dust. Have a kid who is turning 12, he wants pizza for his birthday. He is too old for Chuck E Cheese, Crystals is gone... where is a fun pizza parlor? Plano, Addison, Richardson, Allen, Dallas area are good, but will travel more of a distance.

I went to a place out in McKinney once with an ex-bf for his daughter's birthday...Peter Piper's Pizza I think was the name of it. It was OK; nicer than Chuck E Cheese.

You may check Kid Mania near the Cinemark Legacy. It's a bunch of climbing tubes and some video games. They have pizza I think, about the same quality as Chucky Cheese. I'm not quite sure if he'd be too old or not.

My kids hit Amazing Jakes and they like it. Also, Gatti town is neat, but at 12 years old, they may be too old.

Personally, I would do Dave n Busters. They have tons of games for kids, beer for the parents, and the food does not suck (not saying it is great, just not awful like a lot of those places).
