Neither did I, but I don't think the poster was saying that all South Dallas people are like that. There are nice and bad people everywhere. Crime happens everywhere, but it tends to happen more often in certain areas, IE 5 points, South Dallas and the Fair Park area. It is what it is.

The Lambeth Walk: James Broadnax Gets Death Penalty - Laughs at Victim's Mother

James Broadnax received the death penalty for the murder of Stephen Swan, 26 and Matthew Butler, 28.

Broadnax gunned the two men down in cold blood after he saw them leaving their Christian music studio in Dallas and went up to ask for a cigarette.

Let me explain something.....

SOUTH DALLAS IS NOT CAMDEN, NEWARK, THE SOUTH SIDE OF CHICAGO, DETROIT, ETC.

It seems like people think that Southern Dallas (which includes everything south of I-30) is inhabitable. I know people from Chicago and Detroit, South Dallas is NOT nearly as dangerous as those cities. Heck, Southern Dallas isn't even the worst area in Texas.

Don't understand your point. Who bred the child molesters from North Dallas? And the chiropractors and dentists who you can't leave your children alone with?

Black and mixed middle and upper-middle class neighborhoods south of town prove what we have said all alone, It's all socio-economically related. Areas like Cedar Hill and safe and diverse. When areas are poor there will be more crime no matter what color the people are.

Many people north of town still don't get that everything south of town is not the same area. You have South Dallas, Oak Cliff(North, South, East and West). We always cringed everytime we heard the local news report a crime in South Dallas and then we find out it was in West Oak Cliff. But lumped together no wonder so many think so much crime happens in South Dallas.

Then you have the southern burbs, which are entirely different than those areas.

And by the way, I know for a fact white men have never been afraid of South Dallas. I worked on Ervay Street during the 70's and in the red light district 90 percent of the johns were white businessmen. So give me a break with the nonsense.
