I urgently need a home inspector who can come and inspect my new home. Can anyone recommend a good inspector ? My home is in Frisco.

Not trying to scare you away from home inspectors but this article is enlightening.

Dirty Little Secrets Of Home Inspections

I had hired a home inspector for my first house (new construction), and all he did was walk around house and praise the builder for their awesomeness. This inspector was very reputed and recommended by many in that area. I am not sure about this but if someone points out that home inspectors are "tipped" by builders, I will not be surprised.

Fortunately, not all home inspectors fall in this category.

I have sent a DM to OP with the inspector I used who was excellent.
