what would the morning rush hour commute from terrel to wylie be like and the return trip the other way in the evening?

Well, you would be travelling against traffic so I would say about 45 minutes to 1 hour by taking 78 down to 205 through Rockwall to 740.

It would be a long drive on 2-lane roads, and if you get behind a tractor or another slow-moving vehicle, it would be even longer...
Why not just live closer to Terrell? There are nice communities out that way with good schools. Heck, even Rockwall would be a MUCH closer alternative, and it is great!
