OP rent. As others have stated DFW is huge, and you don't know the area. We ,over here and while I love where we love, I wouldn't have chosen it if we didn't have kids in school. We moved to Allen because it has one high school and gave us the chance to rent in the area before we bought.

If it didn't mean switching the kids to another school we would have chosen McKinney. I we wouldn't have been able to figure that out from a message board. The freedom you have right now take advantage!

If the markets are heating up or down... the avg. home price nearly always goes up!

So if you want to buy, buy.

all reputable members recommend i rent.
that was my first instinct.
i will trust both and rent initially.
