Where is she going to attend college?????

SMU - try closer to it. The costs to get closer and be in a lil bit better area are not going to be much different especially for a 4/4. I'd scratch the 4 bathrooms as that is going to be next to impossible to find. Will be VERY lucky to find 3 FULL bathrooms in most cases.

UTD - look closer also in Richardson to the campus. She will find a better area for sure. For a 4/4 she will have MUCH better luck in that area than any others but it is still going to be hard to find something w/ 4 bathrooms.

UNT or TWU in Denton - go to Denton and look or else it will be one heck of a commute.

The Galleria is at the interchange of two major freeways. There are older homes southeast and southwest of there. Not a lot of homes northwest of there as it's sortof a warehouse district. Northeast there are apartments and condos mostly. What school? I agree with mom, it will be nearly impossible finding a house with 4 bedrooms/4 bathrooms.

There WAS one in my neighborhood about two years ago that was up for rent that had 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. He wanted $6K a month. If he got that I was going to put ours up for lease.

Default Housing Around Galleria

Thanks for your help. 1 of the 4 has backed out. 1 works in Dallas, other 2 will be going to school UTDALLAS OR TWU in Denton, which I realize that is 2 points in opposite directions. I appreciate all our help. I will pass on to them.
Thank you again

You might want to look in Addison, Carrollton area. Depending on where your Dallas worker is working you might even go more north. UTD is in Richardson, you know. TWU in Denton (that's going to be the big hike). If the Dallas worker is North Dallas then you might want to look at North Carrollton or something like that.

Yep those who go to UTD would be close but the North Texas/TWU students would be a good distance from school. North Carrollton would be a great compromise.

At or about where the North Dallas Tollway ends is HWY 380. Providence, Paloma Creek, and Savannah offer affordable rentals (I can and will negotiate their lease if you/they want). This is resort style living and about 20 minutes from UTD, TWU, and UNT. I have a son off in college and know that you worry about their safety and we have common ground as parents watching their offspring go off on their own. So absolutely get with me and I will show you/them the options. In either case good luck.
