This argument needs to die. ISDs can't and shouldn't even contemplate floating bonds for books and teacher salaries etc.

I voted "No."

They purposely tied the construction of this stadium to all the necessary maintenance the ISD needed. But even if it had been voted down doesn't mean they couldn't put a revised proposal to a vote that wouldn't be so obscene.

I'm surrounded by idiots.

Waste..... I'm ready for our ISDs to get rid of these expensive games.
We should be like the rest of the world and move it to club experience.
Not mix schools with sports....

So the cost already went up $7.1 million than the voters "approved" for. But instead of scaling back, they're going to "tap into $8 million undesignated bond funds".

So what if the cost goes up again?

Absolutely ridiculous.

This is not an investment, it's an expense, period.

Staying with your line of thinking and verbiage........"it" can't be used to fund the things you desire. It's complicated, however, bond proceeds can't, oddball exceptions noted, be used for current obligations, teacher's salaries, books and whatnot, and that is a very good thing that separates us from Argentina and other serial defaulters.
