We are considering a move to the McKinney, Texas area and have researched the townhomes available at the Estates of McKinney. I am new to this forum and to Texas and wanted to get any advice on these apartments or any other apartments.

We have a 12 year old daughter and we need a safe neighborhood to live in. We are going to consider buying a home in the McKinney/Plano/Frisco area once we have lived there for at least a year to get to know the area.

Any reviews on these apartments, or any other apartments in the McKinney area would be greatly appreciated.

Yikes..20 views, but no comments..Is that a good thing or a bad thing....Any other apartments that you could suggest would be helpful as well.

We will be out there this in a couple of months so really wanted to get some ideas about some great apartment living. (Preferably a townhouse)

Was taught that if you can't say anything nice about something, it's better to not say anything at all. I would check out realtor.com for a townhome.

Hey Suave... in a similar situation as you. From my readings online, it seems the villa's at stonebridge Ranch are good apartments. Good luck!

I have a friend who lives at the Estates and really likes it.We were looking to rent an apt. there for our college daughter at one point but she will continue to live at home instead. That is a good and safe area. We used to live right off Eldorado and Hardin. I think they have some good amenities for the price.

Why of course...

One was called Time Square of Craig Ranch, El Lago, The Mansions at Stonebridge Ranch & McKinney Place.

In the Frisco area: The Enclave & Alta Cobb Hill

Prosper (Not for sure where this area is) Estates of Proper, which I'm assuming was similar to the Estate of McKinney.

We literally plan to check them all out. We hope to move out this summer and will need to check out schools as well.

Hopefully we can find a great area and love it but prefer to rent just in case that's not the case.

Thanks CTR36, it's definitely high on our list. We have some friends who recommended it because we wanted something parking and they thought that it was really nice and safe...

Now we've gotten even more suggestions so we know we will be able to find something..It's just a matter of getting down there..Again, I'm just excited!! Ready for a change...
