I've never seen these homes, but just remember, the people moving from California, or north east, or what ever other high cost of housing areas have bought similar homes for what in Texas would be considered terrible areas for 800k+. They come to Texas and see a new home for $400k and are still very happy.
I guess these are the people buying? I just cant imagine the disappointment when they try and go to sell, though!

They will sell.
I believe JR Rose is the builder.
The rail line gets some use....it will probably be turned into DART.
In my opinion if there will be a DART light rail stop in Coppell it will actually be in Dallas where city of Dallas actually hits this area...look for the signs on Beltline.
There won't be many homes, but you can probably get an idea from the develpment at 121 and Coppell Road where 121 makes the turn east and 121 Business splts off.
Two-three positives...Coppell schools, decent location on Beltline and new.
Plenty of negatives.
One of the biggest is you don't really know what will be on the other side or around you.
Could be commercial....could be rentals.

These homes will sell. It's the LAST piece of new residential in that price point. The City of Coppell is land locked. Most people these days don't want to spend (or pay for) hours of yard work. They want lock and leave-low maintenance. Most people don't want to hassle over renovating 10-20-30 year old homes. New homes are always more energy efficient. The dart station will be on Cypress Waters property.

Now that Parkside is quite occupied, how are people finding it? Did it change the perception after it has completed construction?

Horrifying and ugly in a terrible location; we're waiting for the construction horror stories. I'm an Irving boy who would not move into one of those if it were given to me, and that's coming from a guy in a working-class 3/2 off Beltline whose home value would get doubled and his commute cut by two thirds in the process.
