Nope. You can tell by the kitchen appliances and kitchen and bathroom mill work as well as the tile, counter, and fixture selections that this is nothing more than a huge McMansion. Most of the light fixtures are cheap and in several pics it's obvious the builder cut corners finishing the ceilings. And the landscaping is super cheap; no way a landscape architect planned the outdoor space.

Again, a real mansion is where quality meets size. This home has lots of builder upgrades, but nothing truly special or custom.

Shrug, agree to disagree I guess. I'd be thrilled to live in that McMansion LOL

What's up with people's obsession with turrets? Imho, this house looks fugly. I do like their nice lot. They added lots of generic upgrades to a big tract builder's house but no feel of opulence, luxury, quality craftsmanship or style.

McMansions are the indistinguishable supersize tract homes in Frisco / Plano / suburbia. Mansions are the large, exquisitely finished and designed homes on Tokalon or in the Park Cities.

Also, moats. It needs to support a moat for keeping peasants out.

If it's under an HOA then it's not a mansion.

And Preston Hollow, Bluffview, Greenway, and Swiss Avenue.

True! HOA's are for the plebeians.

And save the ticky-tacky abstract-art stone facades stuck on over top of chipboard. Seriously, it may sell in the 400s, but it's not fooling anybody.

The dallas property snob fangs are out! CoCo Hide your turrets! Lolol! Too much ado about nothing.

I have a cousin that lives in Europe full time who was unimpressed with the 'estates' tour i took her on in HP and PH to show her how like Dallas-the-show it was not. I imagine after living around actual European castles everything else seems like an imitation.

Its all about the vantage point of the beholder.

Definitely a McMansion. The front of the house is chaotic. Is there a front door? How do you get to it? Why isn't it visible? Why is there a faux garage door behind a flower bed?
